REMINDER! Winter Conditioning Starts MONDAY

Ladies - Winter conditioning starts Monday November 21st!  Get excited!!!! Remember the cost if $50.00 per player.  Conditioning will run up until the season starts. Conditioning and stick skills (wall ball) are the two most important aspects of the game.  ALL players are STRONGLY encouraged to participate!

Kennesaw will have a Division 1 program in 2013!

GET READY FOR YOUR HS SEASON!

The BOUNCE TEAM CAMP is back for it's second year with an unprecedented gathering of some of the top high school coaches in the country. Hyper-focus on your skills right before tryouts, get awesome instruction from a top coach and have a blast improving with your teammates! And, after all is said + done, gobble down some pizza + hydrate with Gatorade ...

At this time, this camp is only for HIGH SCHOOL girls. Make sure to check with your HS coach to see whether or not they have pre-entered a team!

DETAILS
DATE :: JANUARY 21 + 22

TEAM SIZE :: 18-24 players
LOCATION :: Chattahoochee HS Turf Stadium + back grass field

SCHEDULE
SATURDAY PRACTICE :: 4 continuous hours (9-1pm OR 1-5pm)
SUNDAY GAMES :: 9-12noon

WHAT EACH PLAYER GETS
:: CAMP T-SHIRT
:: 4 HOURS of TEAM TRAINING (Saturday)
:: 3 GAMES (Sunday)
:: INDIVIDUAL PLAYER EVALUATION
:: SUNDAY POST-GAMES PIZZA + GATORADE

HOW IT WORKS
TEAMS :: You will be placed with your teammates from your high school so that you each work on individual skills while developing overall team strength. If there are not enough girls from your school to make one team, we will combine you with an complimentary group (in size + ability) to complete your "team" for the weekend.

TRAINING :: Your team will be assigned to a BOUNCE PRO COACH. For Saturday training, you will be learning individual + team concepts for four hours with loads of repetition to improve onsite. As well, you will get tons of individualized coaching as each one of your BOUNCE PRO COACHES will have an additional assistant.

GAMES :: On Sunday, you will be able to try out all that you have learned in the context of a mini-tournament, with your BOUNCE PRO COACH teaching/coaching/mentoring you + your team from the sidelines.

Mandatory Lax Meeting- Tuesday October 25th

Mandatory Girls Lax Meeting BEFORE School on Tuesday October 25^th in J-11 at 8:00am (bring your stuff for practice).

Starting Now:  Study Hall for all players who have 78 or below averages in any of their classes.  Study Hall will run T/TH from 4-5:30 in room B-09. *If you are currently in a fall sport then you will have study hall on T/TH morning in Coach Brunners room from 8-8:30am in room J-11.

HOMECOMING PARADE SIGN-UP

Ladies! We need all of you this FRIDAY to represent the Lady Knights Lacrosse team in the homecoming parade!  I will be driving the truck and I need you to fill the truck! We will have a meeting on Thursday morning at 8am in room J-11.  We will need you to bring posters and your excitement!!! Also- we will be passing out candy in the parade so we need you to dust off those old pumpkins you fill with candy and bring those along.  See you all Thursday morning in room J-11.  Katie Ciardello, Erin Schwartzenfeld, and Lucy are in charge of the parade so if you have any questions please find them.  We encourage everyone to come decked out in CHS LAX gear!

CONGRATULATIONS TO SARAH LOPEZ AND CASEY DREYFUSS!  Both of these players have been awarded the top honor and were named to the US Lacrosse All American Academic team for 2011!

A US Lacrosse All American Academic Team member is a player who exhibits exemplary lacrosse skills, good sportsmanship on the field, and represents high standards of academic achievement in the classroom.  This player has also left her mark beyond the lacrosse field and the classroom by making significant contributions of service to the school and/or community! This player has to be a Junior or Senior and has to have a course load of at least 50 percent college preparatory, honors, or advanced placement courses and must hold a cumulative GPA of a 3.6 on a 4.0 scale!
