The Junior Lady Knights middle school team has their first home game this Saturday at CHS!  Come out and show your support!  Saturday at 2:30 pm in the Fortress!

JV game this Friday rescheduled for March 22 at Blessed Trinity

Ladies and parents: Blessed Trinity had to cancel this Friday's JV GAME ONLY.  Varsity will still play at 4:30pm and the JV/Varsity will play a full scrimmage starting at 6pm.  GIRLS!  Make sure you have your pennies for the game and the scrimmage.  THE game has been rescheduled for March 22nd at 6pm AT BLESSED TRINITY.  Make sure to mark your calendars!

Heartbreaker of a game last night!

Last night was tough, losing 9-8 to Holly Innocents!  We are very proud of you girls for working hard and NEVER giving up!  WAY TO GO LADY KNIGHTS!

This week's line-up

Ladies: Great morning practice today!  Very excited for our game tomorrow.

Tuesday: 4-5:30 in J-11 to watch game film.

Wednesday: Varsity vs. Holy Innocents at 4:30, away.  The bus leaves at 2:30.  You will be excused from class at 2:15.  Make sure you have your black uniform and black spandex to wear underneath.

Thursday: Practice from 4:15-6:00 at Northwood then TEAM DINNER AT SARAH LOPEZs

Friday: Varsity vs. Blessed Trinity at 4:30 - Varsity girls must be on the field by 3:45.  You will be realeased from class at 3:20.  Junior Varsity vs. Blessed Trinity at 6:00pm.  JV girls must be dressed and ready report to the field directly after school.  You will watch the first half of the Varsity game and then warm up.

5 dollars - March 12th

Ladies- I would really like for all of you to attend the first ever Division I game to be played in Georgia and the Free Clinic afterward.  The tickets are $10.00 at the gate and $5.00 if I order them in advance.  Please bring me 5 dollars or a check written to Angela Brunner before Wednesday so that I can preorder the tickets.  Thanks!

Important: Practice for next week

Monday: 2-4 at CHS Stadium

Tuesday: 6:30am -7:30 am at CHS Stadium  AND 4:00pm-5:30pm after school in J-11 to watch game film.
 
Girls!!!! Next week we start our season two very important games.  I know a lot of you are going to be out of town this weekend BUT we are going to have a practice on Monday from 2-4pm at CHS.  I know some of you will be out of town but I EXPECT the rest of you to be there.  Tuesday we are going to have morning practice from 6:30 AM-7:30 AM to run through some of our plays.  ALSO- Tuesday after school from 4-5:30 we will go over game film from last nights game in room J-11.  We were scheduled to have the stadium field on TUESDAY night BUT there is a soccer game that night.  It is very important that we get a good practice in on Tuesday because many of you will be out of town today and Monday.  Wednesday is our first game and I know we are going to do AMAZING with the hard work we put into the season!

Mark your Calendars!!! Free Clinic and first ever Division I game to be played in the State of Georgia.

On Saturday, March 12^th, the first ever NCAA Division I Women’s Lacrosse game to be played in the State of Georgia will take place at West Forsyth High School in Cumming, Georgia.   The Jacksonville University Dolphins will take on the University of Louisville Cardinals at 1:00 PM.   Also, immediately following the game, the Dolphin and Cardinal players and coaches will conduct a FREE CLINIC for all high school and youth girl's lacrosse players in attendance.

Girls!  What an amazing opportunity!  Jacksonville University is the Camp we go to and the Staff at the camp will be there playing and hosting a clinic afterwards.  They would love to see you there and I would LOVE for you girls to have the experience to watch a Division 1 game!  Please let me know if you are available march 12^th and we can purchase tickets in advance for less money.  We plan on going to camp again this year at JU and the coaches have already contacted me to make sure we come!  I plan on attending and would love for you girls to be there.

So proud of you girls tonight! Great game! We will start watching film in seminar tomorrow and watch the rest on Tuesday afternoon. Practice tomorrow from 4:15 to 6:15 at northwood. Then see you Monday at 2pm for practice at chs on the turf.

Thursday's Scrimmage vs. Collins Hill

Varsity will play the FIRST half and JV will play the second half.  Everyone must be dressed and ready to go on the field by 4:45!!!!

Senior night

Ladies- Senior night will be our last home game vs. Alpharetta.  We will introduce the players either before the game or at halftime. 

SAVE THE DATE - Team Camp at Jacksonville University: July 22nd - 24th

Last year we had a GREAT time at Jacksonville University Team Camp!  It is a unique experience because the entire team and the coaches attend together.  I will collect all money, forms, etc. and register the entire team as one. We will take a charter bus to and from camp.  We will either do a fundraiser for the bus money or ask that each girl pay an extra fee for the bus/lunch to and from.

Description: The intent of this camp is to prepare teams for the upcoming season by focusing on total team improvement. Teams will train together and the emphasis will be placed on team fundamentals, including: tactical strategies, defensive organization, team attack, mental preparation, leadership, nutrition, and team performance. Each session will include full-field tournament games, culminating in the camp World Cup Champions. In the evenings, enjoy coaching seminars, team building, and group activities. : JU WOMEN’S TEAM camp is all about teaching your entire team the college-level game. It doesn’t matter what your team’s knowledge and skills are before camp. Our focus is on what YOU want to see your team improve upon tactically from the inside out!

Point Sheet Meeting

Ladies who turned in point sheets: we will hold a meeting to review them tomorrow morning (Wednesday) at 8:15 in room J-11. See you there!

First Team Dinner

The first team dinner will take place next Thursday 2/24 before our first home game at Sarah Lopez's house!  We will practice from 4:15-6 at Northwood Elementary and then carpool over to the Lopez household.
